Personally I hate soap usual operas. for instance our "Carmelita" etc. - they r stupid, ridiculous and annoying! Nevertheless I enjoy "House M.D." and "Grey`s Anatomy" because of interesting heroes and close connection with my work.

Does anyone seriously watch that sh**? I mean aside from bored housewives and senile grannies. For me it's sci-fi or mystery series like Stargate (any), Andromeda, Farscape, Supernatural or at the very least Smallville (although I'm still not sure where Smallville's creators keep their stash of weed).
Oh, wait. There's one soap I like ---Queer as Folk. But it's, well, queer. As folk. Yeah.
