We also discuss our teachers and recently we have come to an agreement about what an ideal teacher is. Fist, what couts is the teacher’s proficiency. She must be more fluent than we are. Besides she must be well-rounded and intelligent. Second, she must understand us and accept us as we are without grumbling. She must be able to give us good advice and help us to broaden our minds. A good teacher prefers encouraging to discouraging. She loves making jokes in class and makes us feel that the subject is easy to learn. She understand that students hate being corrected while speaking because they are easily confused. It’s much better to explain the mistakes later on. We have agreed that she shouldn’t be impatient with those of us who find concentration difficult or who are slower than the others. To sum up, an ideal teacher is our friend who always worries about becoming ideal students.
