During the winter paralympic games in Turin, which were held in the period from the 10th till the 19th of March, the russian team won thirty-three medals:thirteen golden and seven silver ones. From five kinds of sports presented on the paralympic games russian sportsmen took part only in three ones :biathlon, cross country skiing and Alpine skiing. Russian teams did not participate in curling and hockey
