Hello, Jack! I\'ve been longing for your visit to Moscow. Don\'t keep me waiting for long.I promise I\'ll show you around the city. You will enjoy your staying here. The starting point of our sightseeing will be Red Square and the Kremlin, of course. I think it\'s the most interesting place in Moscow. This square is the central square of Moscow, the heart of the city and the whole country. Since the time of Ivan III this square has been the scene of great public events, mainly political - rallies, demonstrations. Its name comes from old Slavonic \"krasny\" = \"red\", also meant \"beautiful\", since red was regarded as a particularly beautiful colour. Originally, the Kremlin was a fortress, so its walls are very high and thick. There are great old cathedrals and historical monuments on the territory of the Kremlin. They are the Bell Tower of Ivan the Great, the Tsar-Cannon and the Tsar-Bell., the biggest cannon and the bell in the world. The main Kremlin tower is the Spasskaya Tower. It serves as a symbol of the country. Just like Big Ben in London! St. Basil\'s Cathedral which is situated on Red Square attracts most of the tourists. Many would think that St.Basil\'s Cathedral alone would justify a visit to Moscow. Since 1561 when it was built to commemorate the capture of Kazan, the capital of Khanate of Kazan, it has always aroused admiration. The history of St.Basil\'s Cathedral is covered with a lot of legends. There is a legend that Ivan the Terrible blinded the architects Barma and Postnik, because he didn\'t want them to create another masterpiece. St. Basil\'s Cathedral consists of 11 small dark chapels combined in a most extraordinary agglomeration. The building is surmounted by a dozen domes and spires painted in all the colours of the rainbow and of the most varied forms. When we come to see the cathedral I\'ll tell you the story of its name. The Bolshoi Theatre is undoubtedly worth seeing. The bealding is a masterpiece of Russian Classicism in architecture. And I hope you won\'t miss the opportunity of seeing a ballet staged at the theatre as for more than 2 centuries the Bolshoi Theatre has been attracting music and ballet lovers. There are also more than 80 museums in Moscow. The largest museums are the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and the State Tretyakov Gallery. I doubt whether we will have enough time to visit them. But I would be very happy if we could. I aroused your interest, didn\'t I? I would be very glad if you could come as soon as possible. I\'ve got a lot to tell you about Moscow. We are to make an interesting tour of the city! You\'ll have the chance to see the above mentioned places and not only them with your own eyes. I am looking forward to meeting you. Bye!
