Spasskaya tower facing the Red square is one of the 20 towers of the Moscow Kremlin. In the tower are the main gate of the Kremlin - Spassky, in the tent of the tower are the famous clock chimes.
Spasskaya Tower was built in 1491 during the reign of Ivan III architect Pietro Antonio Solari, as evidenced by the white stone slabs with commemorative inscriptions that are installed above the entrance gate of the tower.
