The innovative technology using plays a major role in the geophysical operations in whole and seismic investigations particularly. By all the standards the exploitation of the Karachaganak reservoir requires very large capital investments. For a project of such scale it is more economically effective to install from the beginning reliable equipment fo good quality, than to use cheaper, but not high quality materials. This is especially important when performing operations in remote locations, where any mechanical failure could lead to continual stops awaiting spare parts. As well as the choice of technology for work, which will perform quality work in record time. The aim of this work is to analyze the effectiveness of new technologies for seismic work, first performed in the territory of Kazakhstan at the Karachaganak field.
